REPORT ON QUIZ COMPETITION

Quibble: The Quiz Society of the College organized an intra-collegequiz on April 1, 2016, in the Seminar roomat 11:30 am on the topic, “Indian Culture” under the Fine Arts Committee fest “Anoogoonj ,2016”. The questions were based on Indian culture comprising various dance forms, cultural heritage, festivals, art forms and language. More than 100 students from different departments of the college participated in the event. Six teams were selected in the preliminary round to participate in the further rounds. First round comprised of Multiple Choice Questions in which four teams were selected for the next two rounds. The second round was a visual round containing pictures of art forms, dances and monuments from different parts of the country. Students participated enthusiastically and the audience were also excited for the same. The rapid fire round was the final round of the competition which thrilled the participants as well as the audience. Audience also enjoyed answering spot questions thrown on it. The result of the quiz competition is as follows:

More than 100 students from different departments of the college participated in the event. Six teams were selected in the preliminary round to participate in the further rounds. First round comprised of Multiple Choice Questions in which three teams were selected for the next two rounds. The second round was a visual round containing pictures of corporate personalities, sports personalities and cultural heritage . Students participated enthusiastically and the audience were also excited for the same. The rapid fire round was the final round of the competition which thrilled the participants as well as the audience. The result of the quiz competition is as follows:

Quibble: Quiz Society of the College organized an intra-collegequiz on September 30, 2015, in the Room No. 10 at 10:30 AM on the topic, “Indian Freedom Struggle” on the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti to inculcate the feeling of patriotism in the students. More than 60 students from different departments of the college participated in the event. Six teams were selected in the preliminary round to participate in the further rounds. First round comprised of Multiple Choice Questions in which three teams were selected for the next two rounds. The second round was a visual round containing pictures of freedomfighters. Students participated enthusiastically and the audience were also excited for the same. The rapid fire round was the final round of the competition which thrilled the participants as well as the audience. The result of the quiz competition is as follows:

Quibble: The Quiz Society in its maiden year, has been very active in organizing several intra-college quiz competitions in the college. The committee consisted of Dr. Kavita Arora(Convenor), Dr. Kinshuk Majumdar, Dr. Gayatri Chaturvedi, Dr. Indu Varshney, Ms. Ritu Aggarwal, Ms. Adithi and Ms. Poonam. The following events were organized by Quibble during Academic Session 2015-16:

1. On the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti to inculcate the feeling of patriotism in the students, the society organized “Quiz on Indian Freedom Struggle” on 30th September, 2015.
2. “Quiz competition on General Awareness” was organized on 29th October, 2015 in which questions based on Current Affairs, Sports, Literature, Monuments, and Corporate Awareness were asked.
3. The society also organized“Quiz on Indian Culture” on 1st April, 2016 under the Fine Arts Committee Fest “Anogoonj,2016”. The questions were based on Indian culture comprising various dance forms, cultural heritage, festivals, art forms and languages.
A large number of students from different departments of the college participated in the events. The events witnessed remarkable enthusiasm amongst the students and faculty members alike.
