Covid-19 Care and Vaccination Camp at Shyam Lal College, University of Delhi

SLC is one of the first College of University of Delhi, which regularly conducted on campus Covid-19 testing (RTPCR) for its staff after resumption of offline activities besides establishment of sanitisation tunnel.

Beside maintenance of Covid-19 appropriate behaviour, touch-less sanitization points were installed at all strategic spots on the campus. The students and staff were regularly directed to follow all due precautions to prevent spread of virus. The very active NSS team also held many awareness programmes and campaigns to promote Covid appropriate behaviour.

The college organized Vaccination Camp during 12th-13th April, 2021 wherein majority of staff was vaccinated. Taking a cue from this, SLC impressed upon local administration to start a proper Vaccination camp at SLC campus which ultimately resulted in setting-up of a regular camp on 16th Dec, 2021, for the benefit of students, staff and neighbourhood.
