About CSD

Centre for Skill Development, SLC was established in 2015-16 with an aim to enhance skill sets in students of the college to suit the needs of industry and thereby increase the employability of the students. Since its inception the centre is committed to inculcate skills in the students and to give them a platform to horn their theoretical and practical knowledge, going beyond textbooks to suit the needs of industry and thereby increase the employability of the students. Apart from regularly organizing skill enhancement workshops, conferences, seminars, industrial collaborations, skill based competitions and internships, the Centre took pioneering initiative of successfully running several employment oriented add-on courses.

Collaborations with reputed National and International organizations like the National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology, Delhi (NIELIT), Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), Government of India, Bombay Stock Exchange Institute Ltd., Department of Germanic and Romance Studies, University of Delhi, Department of East Asian Studies, University of Delhi, XAMK, Finland , Turku University of Applied Sciences, Institute of Companies Secretaries in India, Securities and Exchange Board of India, New Holland Agriculture (CNH) etc. have been made to provide quality exposure to the students.
