Brief Profile

Many years of sustained research engagement with English Literature have bestowed upon me a mindset that could employ literary and cultural theories to dissect specific socio-political developments. This mental faculty is presently aiding me in conducting a critical evaluation of the nuanced interrelations between psychology (superego), notion of morality, and violence. I have a PhD in English Literature from the Indian Institute of Technology, Ropar, and have pursued BA followed by MA from the University of Delhi. My research thrust is broadly focussed on Indian Writings in English, Northeast Indian English fiction to be specific. And I endeavour to find links between narratives and continental philosophies, an intellectual project that I find psychologically stimulating
