Dr. Amit Kumar is an accomplished academician, currently serving as an Assistant Professor in the Department of English at Shyam Lal College (M), University of Delhi. With a passion for literature and language, Dr. Kumar embarked on his academic journey by obtaining a Bachelor of Arts degree from GDC Bhaderwah in 2010, following which he pursued higher education to delve deeper into his field of interest. In 2019, he successfully completed his MPhil, further honing his expertise in English literature. Subsequently, his academic pursuits culminated in the completion of his doctoral studies in 2023 on the topic "Woman and Nature: An Ecofeminist Study of Select Films of Twenty First Century Indian Cinema". In December 2019, he also cleared the National Eligibility Test (UGC NET). In addition to his academic achievements, Dr. Amit Kumar possesses extensive teaching experience spanning over six years. He has imparted variously at the University of Jammu, HNB Garhwal University, and GDC Doda. His pedagogical approach is characterized by innovation, intellectual rigour, and a deep commitment to fostering critical thinking and analytical skills among his students. He has published seven articles in both peer-reviewed and UGC Care journals and besides this, he has attended multiple workshops, seminars, and conferences (National and International) to broaden his horizon in academics.
