Dr. Radhika Gupta is serving as Assistant Professor in Department of Chemistry, Shyam Lal College since June 2023. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry from Hans Raj College, University of Delhi (in 2013; secured 1st rank in the college) and Master’s degree in Chemistry from Indian Institute of Technology Delhi (in 2015). She then pursued Ph.D. in Chemistry from University of Delhi (in 2022) on the topic “Design, Synthesis and Application of Recyclable Ionic Liquids Supported Magnetic Nanocatalysts for Various Organic Transformations” and is UGC NET JRF qualified (17th rank). She has published over 30 research publications in various international journals of repute. Her area of research includes Green Chemistry, Heterogeneous Catalysis, Nanocatalysis, Catalysis through Explicit Hydrogen Bonding Interactions, Immobilization of Ionic Liquids for Catalytic Applications, Development of Nanomaterials and their Characterization, Covalent Organic frameworks and Water Remediation. She is an active member of American Chemical Society, Royal Society of Chemistry and Green Chemistry Network Centre and is also serving as the Vice Chair of ACS International Student Chapter University of Delhi, India. Dr. Radhika has been adorned with Young Scientist Award in International Workshop and Symposium on Green Chemistry & Technology held at Govt. Dungar College, Bikaner in 2018 and with the title of 'I am one of the best 2008' by Smt. Sheila Dixit, former Chief Minister of Delhi, India. She has also been awarded with INSPIRE scholarship funded by Department of Science and Technology (2010-2015) and HINDUJA scholarship (2008-2013).
