Dr. Leena Singh completed her M.Sc (Computer Science) and M.Tech (Computer Science & Engineering) from Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra in 2003 and 2005 respectively. She did her Ph.D in Engineering from ASET, AUUP in 2020. She has been working as Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science at Shyam Lal College, University of Delhi since March 2023. She has more than 17 years of experience in teaching, learning and research. She has more than 25 publications in prestigious journals, as book chapters and at internantional conferences. She has exhibited commendable innovation in her field, resulting in the successful granting of two patents, and the publication of two others. Her contributions span a diverse range of areas, including solar energy, rainwater conservation, pest control, and household utility inventions. This reflects her dedication to pushing the boundaries of traditional thinking and finding practical solutions to real-world challenges. Additionally, the filing of another patent underscores her ongoing commitment to innovation and the pursuit of novel ideas. Her achievements highlight her significant impact upon advancing technology and addressing pressing societal needs. She has participated and attended numerous workshops, webinars, and conferences, showcasing commitment to continuous learning and professional development. Her involvement in organizing various national seminars and conferences, demonstrates her leadership and organizational skills. She has also contributed as a Program Committee Chair and Reviewer at international conferences, highlighting expertise and recognition in the field. She has supervised more than fifty Bachelors and Master’s Students. She is having an active membership in several professional associations, indicating active engagement and networking within the academia. Her research interests are in the areas of Software Engineering, A.I., Machine Learning and optimization using Evolutionary Techniques.
