The socially aware students of our College are very much awake to the needs of nation building and social upliftment. The National Cadet Corps and the National Service Scheme offer ample opportunities to students to learn and contribute in these fields. It is compulsory for students to join either NCC or NSS and participate in their diverse programs. Both these units of our College are quite dynamic and have provided our students with opportunities to participate in a wide array of activities, and the students can choose either, depending on their interest. While the NSS unit regularly organizes Blood Donation Camps and social awareness campaigns for our students to participate in, the NCC offers them basics military training. Students enrolled with the NCC unit are instructed in rifle shooting, the use of ammunitions, basics first-aid, mountaineering and trekking through tough terrains, along with participation in drills and parades.
