About Research & Development Centre

SLC has established a Research and Development Centre (RDC) with the mandate for promoting quality research that contributes meaningfully towards the goal of a self-reliant India ("Atma-Nirbhar Bharat"), aligned with the provisions of NEP-2020. The R&D Centre aims to create a dynamic and intellectually stimulating environment that encourages critical thinking, interdisciplinary collaboration, and problem-solving through research-based learning. The Centre actively promotes faculty and student participation in research projects through its 'Shyam Lal Multidisciplinary Research Project scheme'. To strengthen the research ecosystem within the institution, the Centre also organizes workshops, expert lectures, hands-on training sessions, and collaborative academic initiatives with reputed institutions and research organizations. Special emphasis is placed on nurturing undergraduate research aptitude, scientific temper, and innovation-oriented learning. Through its initiatives, the entre (RDC) aspires to transform young learners into responsible researchers, innovators, and future leaders capable of addressing real-world challenges at local, national, and global levels.
