About IQAC
The college established its Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) in 2016 to ensure quality in academic and co-curricular
activities. The consistent progress of the institution, reflected in its A++ Grade (2nd NAAC cycle) and 43rd NIRF ranking, is a result of
IQAC’s dynamic functioning.
Since inception, IQAC has collaborated with various departments and centres to develop a holistic academic environment. The transformation in SLC’s
research and academic profile became evident as international and national conferences, workshops, and FDPs became a regular feature of the academic
calendar.
IQAC launched the Interdisciplinary Students Project Scheme in 2018, now continued under the Research and Development Cell, to encourage
student research collaboration. It also conducts annual Result Analysis and facilitates academic audits, NIRF participation, and Smart
Office training for non-teaching staff.
The IQAC team ensures smooth completion of institutional processes such as faculty recruitment and promotion, and actively involves students
in decision-making related to quality initiatives. It also motivates centres and clubs to undertake socially and environmentally responsible projects.
Overall, IQAC plays a pivotal role in driving institutional growth through continuous improvement and long-term quality planning.
