Bharatiya Bhasha and Cultural Heritage
The National Conference on Bharatiya Bhasha Pariwar: संस्कृति से संवाद – Bharatiya Bhasha and Cultural Heritage will be
held on 16–17 January 2026 at Shyam Lal College (University of Delhi) in hybrid mode.
Organized by the Saraswati IKS Centre and IQAC, Shyam Lal College, in collaboration with the Bharatiya Bhasha Samiti, Ministry of Education
(Government of India), the conference aims to foster dialogue between tradition and modernity by exploring the deep-rooted relationship
between Indian languages (Bharatiya Bhasha) and the country’s cultural, philosophical, and educational heritage.
Through plenary sessions, paper presentations, panel discussions, and round tables, the event provides a multidisciplinary platform for scholars,
educators, researchers, and practitioners to discuss how Bharatiya languages serve as both a vehicle and repository of India’s civilizational
knowledge.
The conference aligns with the vision of NEP 2020 and the Indian Knowledge Systems (IKS) framework, emphasizing the integration of indigenous linguistic and cultural knowledge into
mainstream academia.
